EAGLE'S WINGS KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

EWA will be hosting its first United States Karate Alliance Tournament on Saturday, July 26, 2008. This will be a maximum sanctioned event.

T&T NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

 

Double mini trampoline. Teammates. National Champions. Two athletes from Eagle’s Wings Athletics returned with the coveted title after a week in Kansas City at the Trampoline and Tumbling (T & T) Junior Olympic National Championships. Ryan Allen, who competed in the boy’s age 9-10 division, earned his title in the level 6 double mini. Andrew Johnson earned her title in the 11-year-old girls division of the same event and level. Johnson also placed eighth in level 5 tumbling and 10th in level 8 trampoline.

Twelve year-old Sydney Wendt finished fifth in level 8 trampoline, tied for eighth in level 8 double mini and placed ninth on level 9 tumbling. Ryan Frome placed tenth overall on level 8 tumbling in the 11-12 girl’s division. Sara Stewart finished fourth in the age 13-14 girls level 6 trampoline division. Mary Rossi, who competed level 9 on all three events, earned ninth place in each. Two boys competed in the age 13-14 division. Brian Schmidt took a silver medal on level 6 tumbling, and placed fifth on level 8 trampoline. Competing level 7, Nathan Vite placed fourth on trampoline and eighth on double mini. Hannah Green, in the 15 and over division, took seventh place on level 7 tumbling and level 8 trampoline. Seth Botone, Amy McDonald and Bret Stout coach the T & T team at Eagle’s Wings Athletics. “The meet was a great success for EWA, with the most number of top 10 finishers and great confidence shown by all the EWA T & T athletes,” remarked Coach Stout.

  EWA has begun enrolling for the fall semester of Mother's Day Out and our Fitness Learn for Youth program. Space is limited in our MDO program so get signed up early.
 

GIRLZ...ROCK THE HOUSE

  EWA will be hosting its annual girls meet on Saturday August 23rd. This a great opportunity for the student of EWA to come watch our competitive team in action. All Classes will be cancelled that day due to the event and No Friday Night Open Gym.
