Class Programs
General Information:
The Eagle's Wings cheer program
prepares cheerleaders by teaching proper
jump and motion technique, voice projection, stunting basics
and dance. Some tumbling is taught but is not a major focus
of our cheerleading class program.
*Dress
Code – green shorts, solid white shirt, white socks, cheer/gym
shoes and hair back.

1:

Weekly
– 55 Minute Class Ages
5 – 9. This weekly class provides maximum fun while introducing
cheer basics. The class includes stretches, cheers, chants,
dance, basic jumps, coordination development and lots of spirit.
This is for the cheerleader seeking fun, and not wishing to
cheer competitively just yet. Classes will learn an age and
skill appropriate routine.

2:

Weekly
– 55 Minute Class
Ages 10+. This weekly class combines fun and structure while
cheerleaders learn proper cheer technique. Class includes stretches,
conditioning, jumps, cheer, dance, tumbling basics, and stunts.
The class emphasis is on technique, teamwork and performing,
as opposed to learning a variety of cheers and chants. This
class grooms the cheerleaders for competition and /or school
cheer programs. Each class will learn an age and skill appropriate
competition style routine.

Weekly
– 55 Minute Class
Geared toward middle school and high school
age cheerleaders, this class focuses on the cheer basic as well
as power stretching, conditioning and tumbling. Class members
will get at least 30 minutes of tumbling each class period.
Prep
Team:

Weekly
– 3 hours
Cheerleaders will participate in two 90 minute cheer classes
weekly. Some cheerleaders need extra work and time before competing
or to just learn more about competitive cheerleading. The Prep
Team is a fit for the cheerleader needing a less demanding schedule
and/ or more work on skills. Prep Team will not compete until
late February or March each depending on the competitions available. Preparatory
Team is for grades 7th and under.
